The first on...Rob, thanks for the recommendations. The first one of these I will check out is Camp's "Mere Discipleship" as I think that's what I would want. Your discription of it reminds me of "The Barbarian Way" which doesn't allow for complacency. Speaking of which, have you ever read "RUTHLESS TRUST" by Brennan Manning? Wow! I loved that book. In fact, I just did three posts about it on my blog. Manning actually reminds me of what you said about Taylor's "Leaving Church" because Manning used to be a priest too and he left the priesthood and got married; although, "Ruthless Trust" doesn't really go into that. It did make me on-fire in terms of my relationship with God.
